Rajinikanth & Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 has easily been one of the most anticipated movies of the year. It has multiple reasons for fans to be excited too, be it the benchmark set by Enthiran (Robot) or the star-cast or the VFX this installation is expected to have. The hype around the film is so high that Kangana Ranaut‘s period drama, Manikarnika which was initially clashing with the film was also delayed.
2.0 which has been in making from 2017 has been delayed because of the heavy amount of post-production going into the making of the film. The director of this massive project, Shankar Shanmugam is known to be a technical wizard and a perfectionist and is leaving no stone unturned to make the film match its international counterparts.
As per a report in DNA, attempts of doing so has led the makers to add another ₹ 100 crores to the already high budget of the film which is said to be a whopping ₹ 400 Crores.
All eyes are definitely on this sci-fi thriller which is expected to release on the 25th of January next year.
