There comes a time in our lives where knowing how to get around doing a perfect winged liner, smokey eye and a matte lipstick application is key. And for those of you who aren’t too sure or somehow seem to mess it up, we have you covered. In our previous Beauty BFF episode, we showed you how to achieve a perfect pout, and for this week you’re going to get a step-by-step on how to ace a basic and bold smokey eye.
Step 1:
Apply a neutral shadow to your crease to give it depth and dimension.
Step 2:
Apply a dark brown shadow over your lids. Focus on the outer corners.
Step 3
Apply a shimmery shadow to the centre of your lids to give it an oomph.
Step 4:
Apply the dark brown shadow to your waterline to finish off the smokey feel and look.
Step 5:
Apply a couple of coats of mascara to open up the eyes.
