The IIFA awards got over yesterday and every actor who was nominated was applause-worthy. The full list of winners came out towards the end of the night keeping fans waiting with bated breath. Nawazuddin Siddiqui received an award for Best Actor in a supporting role for his character in Mom and we must say, there’s no two ways about it there. The legendary Rekha ji was the one who gave him the award and just like us Nawaz sahab couldn’t contain his excitement and shared it on Twitter, but along with that, he dedicated his award to his Mom co-star Sridevi. He mentioned that to have worked with the first lady superstar of India was his honor.

Sridevi also posthumously won an award for the Best Actor in a lead role Female. Boney Kapoor received the award on her behalf and thanked the entire team of Mom in an emotional speech at the award function.
