Fans loved watching Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra in Rohan Sippy’s Bluffmaster. So it was only natural that we got super excited when reports that the duo was going to collaborate for Shonali Bose’s next flick came out. But unfortunately, we have some sad news coming your way. As per reports in Indian Express, Abhishek is no longer a part of the project. But the silver lining is that Farhan Akhtar will now take up the part.
Divulging details about the film, a source said,
The movie is based on Ayesha’s life and her book My Little Epiphanies. Priyanka and Farhan will play her parents’ role. Zaira Wasim will be portraying Ayesha’s role in the film. The film goes on floors in August this year.
Priyanka and Farhan have already starred in Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadkne Do and the chemistry was noteworthy. While we’re heartbroken that there won’t be an Abhi-PeeCee reunion any time soon, we’re super pumped to see the Dil Dhadakne Do pair coming together again!
