Janhvi Kapoor is on a promotional spree for her debut movie Dhadak. The trailer and songs have received some good reviews and we can’t wait to see how the debutant will fare on screen. Turns out that Janhvi was in talks for Shahid Kapoor‘s upcoming project Arjun Reddy as well. But reportedly Tara Sutaria, the Student Of The Year 2 star will now be playing a part in the movie. Sources revealed to Mid-Day that Karan Johar was the reason for Janhvi not taking up the film.
According to sources, KJo does not want her to be associated with action-masala projects so early in her career.
He wants her to do glamorous roles, like the one in Dhadak. He suggested Tara’s name, who he thought was a better choice for Arjun Reddy.
Looks like KJo is taking a special interest in Janhvi’s career and looking over her like a godfather would.
