Having also starred in one of the biggest blockbusters, Baywatch back in 2017, it’s safe to say that PeeCee has made a name for herself with the global audience. But what’s got us talking today is her much-awaited return to Bollywood. PC will be making a come back with Salman Khan‘s upcoming flick Bharat.
And what can we say, the desi girl sure knows her value! According to a report in DNA, Priyanka will be getting paid a whopping 6.50 crore for her role in Bharat, making her the third highest paid actress in the industry. Deepika Padukone was paid a staggering 12 crore for Padmaavat and Kangana Ranaut comes a close second for being paid a rumoured 11 crore.
In a day and age where gender pay disparity is widely prevalent, it’s heartening to see role models like PeeCee getting paid almost equal to or more than a lot of actors. Piggy Chops will soon be coming down to India to start shooting for Bharat.
Speaking of the film, just like Salman, Priyanka will also be seen sporting 5 different looks in the movie as her character will be shown aging from 25 to 65 years. Her style is said to have been inspired by Zeenat Aman, Parveen Babi, Sharmila Tagore and Shabana Azmi.
With that hefty paycheck, we can only imagine what a gigantic film this is going to be!
