Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte are one of finest actors of Bollywood. The duo has a series of great films in their kitty and every time they appear on the 70mm, they manage to charm us with their acting chops. After giving us a list of great performances on the platter, Radhika and Saif are all set to star in Netflix’s next, Sacred Games. The series releases online tomorrow and just before it makes people go gaga, we had a quick tete-a-tete with the actors and here’s what they said.

Saif has already proved his mettle in Bollywood and it is the first time that the Chef actor will be seen starring on a digital platform. While many Hindi cinema actors have already made their debut in the digital space, the actor reveals what made him say yes.

I think Netflix coming into the market was the main factor. The material was great, considering it is based on a book. I also think that there is something international about a cop, mafia, and detective story set in Mumbai. All this clubbed with the craziness and chaos of our city makes it for a great story. Netflix is a global platform and when we’re being compared to rest of the world then that is something exciting.

Radhika, on the other hand, won our hearts when she starred in Lust Stories. Her tale was relatable and that is something Radhika does with every character she portrays. Ask the Pad Man actress what’s exciting about Sacred Games and she says,

I think I watch Netflix all the time, it has the widest reach and they make really good content. This is India’s first Netflix original series I don’t think it can get more exciting than that.

All of us love spending time on Netflix and watching our favourite shows. When asked about their favourite shows, the duo revealed,

The Crown, Fargo, Stranger Things and of course Narcos.

We can’t wait to watch Sacred Games, already!
