Ranbir Kapoor has impressed the entire nation with his performance in Sanjay Dutt‘s biopic titled, Sanju. The actor has been busy receiving praises from audiences and critics alike but the one person who is apparently the most impressed with his performance is none other than his father, Rishi Kapoor.

It’s rare that you see Rishi singing praises about junior Kapoor but this time even he couldn’t help himself. In an interview with DNA:

I have never interfered in his career, I never will.Talking about the success that Sanju has brought for Ranbir, the proud father added:

Even 20 days before Sanju released, there were a few naysayers who did raise doubts on whether it would work and if Ranbir would be able to pull off his act as Sanjay, who is a larger-than-life-superstar.
