After a lot of back and forth, the filming of Batti Gul Meter Chalu has finally come to an end. The film which is directed by Shree Narayan Singh stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, and Yami Gautam. It deals with the topic of electricity cuts in small towns and is shot in Uttarakhand. As you know, no Bollywood movie is complete without a dance number, BGMG also has its share. Shahid and Shraddha recently shot for a dance number before wrapping up the shoot titled, ‘Hard Hard‘. It is penned by Siddharth – Garima while Mika Singh has crooned the song. Ganesh Acharya who had earlier collaborated with Shree for Gori Tu Latth Maar for Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has choreographed this one too and the song was shot in Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios. While the song will feature Shahid and Shraddha it will also star Divyendu Sharma who was also seen in TEPK.

A source close to the project exclusively told us,

Shahid and Shraddha shot for the song last week. Shraddha is currently vacationing in Germany with her family and the duo shot for the song before the actress left the country. While everybody is expecting this song to be a party song, this one will be more of a celebration song and will highlight the life of merriment in Uttarakhand.

Talking about Shahid’s look in the song, the source further added,

Shahid plays a lawyer in the film and apart from donning the typical lawyer avatar; Shahid will be seen in the entire film looking like a boy from a three-tier city, which matches his character.

Here are BTS pictures of Shahid from the shoot.
