Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra is getting bigger and better with each passing day. The film which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor already has wrapped up its first shooting schedule and recently commenced the second schedule. The film which is a ‘supernatural romance fairy tale’ has been making news ever since it was announced and now we have yet another reason to be excited about it. In a recent interview with IANS, Telugu superstar Nagarjuna revealed that he is also a part of the film. The actor was shooting for a Telugu film and recently left for Europe.
Talking about the film, the actor said,
Yes, I am doing Brahmastra. It is my first Hindi film in a very long time. I can’t remember when the last time I did a Hindi film was. While my last Hindi film was LOC Kargil, I had a brief role in it. Zakhm was my last full-fledged role in a Hindi film.
The Criminal actor also revealed that he immediately gave a nod to the film as soon as the script came his way.
Brahmastra was impressive from the moment it came to me. I said ‘yes’ immediately and now, here I am on my way to shoot for it. I am looking forward to it. “I am not supposed to say much. To be honest, I’m not very sure of the extent of my role. But it’s a pivotal part. And they probably thought of me because the role suits my personality.
Talking about his co-stars, Nagarjuna added,
Except Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan), with whom I’ve worked inKhuda Gawah, they are all new to me. I’m working for the first time with Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. I still remember Alia Bhatt as a child on Bhatt saab’s (Mahesh Bhatt) set. Now I am working with her in Brahmastra. How time flies.
