After Veere Di Wedding, Kareena Kapoor Khan made way in our hearts all over again. Ever since then, the audience has been waiting to see Bebo on the 70 mm again. While there has been no official announcement about her next project, reports were doing rounds that Kareena will be teaming up with Akshay Kumar for Raj Mehta’s next directorial venture. The film which is being produced by Karan Johar has been in talks for a while and now there is a new update on the same front. As per reports in DNA, apart from Kareena and Akshay, the project will also star Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh.
A source told the daily,
Kiara has now become a favourite with KJo’s production house. After Lust Stories, a segment of which was helmed by Karan, and Kalank, this will be her third collaboration with the filmmaker. As for Diljit, the character is of Haryanvi descent, so he suits the role to a T.
While this will be Kiara’s third outing with Dharma; Bebo and Diljit have already starred together in Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab.
Let’s hope that the makers announce this project soon.
