Kareena Kapoor Khan has been one of the B-Town boss ladies that has shown the world that women need not put a stop to their career when they start a family. From walking the ramp to photoshoots to shooting a movie, the star has done it all while she was pregnant with her son, Taimur Ali Khan. If you thought she was letting her career take a back seat because of her mommy duties, the success of her film Veere Di Wedding proves otherwise. And after the success of Veere, she’s already bagged two big movies alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. Earlier this year, there were reports that Kareena would be starring in Salute, a biopic based on the life of astronaut Rakesh Sharma (The only Indian to ever travel to space). Recent reports in DNA suggests that the actress will sign on the dotted line this week. Another source revealed to Bollywood Hungama about how the dates of the actress were being worked out.

In a film, various issues including remuneration and dates need to be worked out first before an announcement is made. And Kareena and Shah Rukh coming together after Ra.One is very big news. But now everything has been sorted, the deal has been finalised and Kareena is doing Salute where she plays Madhu who is an interior designer by profession and astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s (played by Shah Rukh) wife. Kareena loved the story and is excited to be working with Shah Rukh again.
