Dhadak has finally hit the screens today and we couldn’t be more excited! Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen Janhvi Kapoor promote the film and every time, she just looks better and better. Although her signature makeup look is quite low-key, her hair is another story. Hairstylists, Ayesha DeVitre and Sajan Thapa, teamed up to create some gorgeous braids for the actress to wear during the promotions. Here are 5 of our favourites.
1. The Boho Braid
Rather than opting for a single, thick plait, Janhvi went for a series of small, thin braids throughout her lush mane. We love the breezy vibe that this look gave off.
2. The Double Braids
Did someone say fierce? The actress’ double dutch braids added an interesting twist to her Indian outfit.
3. The Princess Braid
To complement her dreamy, white outfit, Janhvi’s hair was styled into soft, side braids and topped off with flowers.
4. The Braid In A Braid
This is what we call braid inception! The debutante wore a crown plait that seamlessly flowed into a fishtail braid, to create one of the most stunning ‘dos we’ve seen.
5. The Edgy Braid
This look is proof that you can go edgy, even in a traditional outfit. The actress’ side-swept braid complemented her smoky eye perfectly and looked super chic.
