The internet took a collective gasp yesterday when the news about international pop singer Demi Lovato being hospitalized broke out. But her close friend Nick Jonas and his girlfriend – our desi girl, Priyanka Chopra were quick to send the singer their get well soon wishes on Twitter. Nick and Demi have been close friends since their Camp Rock days and Demi had briefly dated Nick’s elder brother Joe Jonas as well. So it’s only natural that Nick would be shocked to hear the news about Demi’s health. While there have been rumours that things were not okay between Nick and Demi after he started dating PeeCee, looks like Nick just shut them down with a heartfelt tweet.

Reportedly, Demi had been rushed to the hospital from her home in Hollywood Hills after she was found unconscious. TMZ had reported that this was due to a heroin overdose and the paramedics who had arrived at her home had given her Narcan, an emergency treatment for narcotic overdoses.
A representative from Demi’s team confirmed that she was currently stable and issued a statement as well.
Demi is awake and with her family who wants to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.
Along with Nick and Priyanka, many other celebrities took to Twitter to send their regards to Demi.
