Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra‘s engagement has been one of the most talked and written about news of last week. Priyanka dropped out of the much talked about Salman Khan starrer Bharat, which made another set of headlines. Many even deemed her ‘unprofessional’ including the movie’s producer, Nikhil Namit. But now, latest reports suggest that PeeCee and Nick will be getting hitched on the 16th of September, which also happens to be Nick’s birthday. Howzzat for a double celebration?
Earlier, Hindustan Times had reported that the wedding would be held around October or November. But latest reports in Mid-Day suggests that the two will tie the knot in September. I don’t know if it’s just me, but they got engaged on PeeCee’s birthday and now if these reports are to be believed, they will get married on Nick’s birthday. How cute is that?
Well, seeing that the wedding is in September and PeeCee’s schedule for Bharat was due in September too, I guess this is why she had to drop out.
While on the subject of their wedding, I’m way too excited for this one. This is probably the first Bollywood meets Hollywood wedding that we’ll see and I for one hope they have an Indian ceremony too. C’mon, the Jonas brothers dancing to Indian songs? Who’d want to miss that? Amirite?
