Last week Priyanka Chopra fans were shocked after they heard that the actress had stepped back from Ali Abbas Zafar‘s Bharat. The film which is a remake of Korean film Ode To My Father stars Salman Khan and Disha Patani and the first shooting schedule of this drama had already gone on floor. While reports are doing rounds that Priyanka is planning to tie the knot with her beau Nick Jonas, fans wanted to know who would step into PeeCee’s shoes. The wait is finally over, as Salman’s Tiger Zinda Hai co-star Katrina Kaif would be playing his love interest in this adaptation.
Talking about Katrina coming on board, Ali shared,
I am extremely excited to work with Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan once again for Bharat. We have had exciting collaborations in the past and it is very interesting to work with the duo once again. It is very delightful to work with the immensely talented actress yet again.
Katrina will be joining the shoot in the upcoming schedules beginning in September.
Now that Katrina has come on-board and the makers have found their leading lady, we can’t wait to witness the magic onscreen again!
