The trailer of Fanney Khan has already got a positive response from the audience. The songs of this musical drama are topping the charts currently and as the film is gearing up to hit the screens this Friday, Rajkummar Rao’s recent interview with Hindustan Times caught my attention. The film which deals with a number of topics like body shamming and chasing your dreams showcases cute chemistry between Rajkummar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Talking about the chemistry, Raj revealed that it was weird yet fun.
Rajkummar said,
My whole romantic side with Aishwarya was really fun. It was great. My character is in awe of her in the film. And I am in awe of her in real life. It was a very weird combination.
Talking about working with Anil Kapoor in the film, he added,
It is a great story and I loved my part. It was very exciting to work with Anil sir and Aishwarya. It was a fascinating experience.
He further mentioned that actors like Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan inspire him.
People like Anil sir (Anil Kapoor), Amit ji (Amitabh Bachchan) inspire me to keep moving forward and apart from that, the fact that I love my job as an actor keeps pushing me ahead. I never had a plan B. I honestly wanted to be an actor and dedicate my life to movies.
Apart from Fanney Khan, Rajkummar will also be seen in Stree and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga which hit the screens this year. While I am waiting to witness more from the makers of Stree, I have already booked my tickets for this Friday!
