It’s Friendship Day! It’s that time of the year again where we make all the elaborate plans and get away with our friends! That being said, not everyone needs to have plans to paint the town red! If you, like many others have decided to just call a bunch of friends over and just chill, what better way to spend it than by binge-watching your favourite movies? So, here’s a list of 10 movies we think would be absolutely great!
1. Sex And The City
You could watch it a million times and you’d still sit down to watch it again and again. It is the perfect movie to watch with the girls! Every binge watch list has to have this movie on it because it’s definitely now considered a classic. Well, we guess that’s why Amazon Prime Video decided to add the movie!
2. The Hangover
The first in the franchise, the original one is still the best of the lot! At some point or the other, we’ve all had the thought of going on an epic adventure with the friends. Well, maybe not forgetting them on the roof part, but the rest of it is definitely something of an adventure.
3. Mean Girls
Another one that’s been included into Amazon Prime Videos, this movie is so much more than just a chick flick. It’s one of those classics that no matter how many times you watch, you’re still just as entertained by it.
4. The Perks Of Being A Wallflower
This coming-of-age drama is a movie that will definitely take you on a nostalgic trip! It takes you back to the days when you’ve probably met some of the people who you’re sitting with and watching this movie. It’s a perfect trip down memory lane and will almost hit you right in the feels.
5. Grown Ups
Proving that you’re never too old to have fun, this movie shows us why the bond of friendship is so special! No matter what changes in life, you’ve always got your friends to lean on and you know, they’re always game for a good time.
6. The Breakfast Club
This is by far one of our favourite movies! This movie literally deserves a place in the binge-watch hall of fame. From being indifferent to each other all the way till being inseparable, this movie tells the perfect tale of friendship.
7. Bridesmaids
We’ve probably watched this movie over a hundred times by now. Yet someone, when the whole gang is together, you can’t help but ask everyone if they want to watch the movie. A glass or maybe a bottle of wine, some popcorn and you’re sorted!
8. Superbad
Superbad is the kind of movie that will make you go aww and also fall on the floor laughing. Ok, maybe that’s a bit exaggerated, but it does have the perfect blend of comedy and heartfelt moments in it. So it’s a pretty good addition to the binge-watch list.
9. Little Miss Sunshine
Albeit a rather strange addition to this list, this movie is actually a really great watch. While it isn’t a typical story about friendship, it still revolves around the little girl and the bond she has with her grandfather! It’s kinda like a BFF story, so it counts.
10. Ratatouille
Again, while this isn’t about 2 people who are friends, it’s still one of our favourite movies. It has some heartfelt moments and it also tells a beautiful story about friendship. Yes, even if it is between a rat and a human.
