Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Fanney Khan hit the screens last Friday. While the film may not have managed to impress the masses, performances of Aishwarya as well as Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao have been highly appreciated. Recently in an interview with IANS, Aishwarya revealed that Fanney Khan was the first film of her’s Aaradhya watched.
Aishwarya said,
Do you know Aaradhya saw her mother’s film for the first time? I mean, she had of course seen me on television and doing songs. But ‘Fanney Khan’ is my first film where she actually sat through the whole film. I think her smiling eyes said it all. She had actually seen me shoot a part of my song in ‘Fanney Khan’. So when she heard there was a screening, she expressed a wish to see the film with all her friends and their parents. So all her friends came with their parents and had a good time.
On the work front, Aishwarya will next be seen opposite Abhishek Bachchan in Anurag Kashyap’s Gulab Jamun. Talking about the film, Aishwarya had said,
AB and I agreed to do Gulab Jamun. I told AB that he needs to decide what he wants to do after Manmarziyan. The script had to be interesting if a real-life couple is coming together.
We can’t wait to witness this Abhi-Aishwarya starrer!
