The digital space is growing by the second, there is so much content for every generation, every kind of audience out there. So much so that even Bollywood actors are now trying out new kinds of characters and storylines as they feature in web series. The latest Indian digital that caught a lot of attention was Sacred Games which starred Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Pankaj Tripathi and others. Saif impressed everyone as Sartaj Singh and turns out now his sister-in-law, the stunning, Karisma Kapoor is all set to make her debut in the digital space.
Fans have been longing to see the actress for a long time now but after her comeback film tanked, Karisma hasn’t been interested in any of the scripts coming her way. In an old interview, the actress had told DNA that:
I am happy being a mother. I’m not closed to the idea of acting again, but unless there’s something that really touches my heart, I won’t take anything up.
But, looks like something has finally piqued the actress’ interest. Here’s what the source revealed to DNA:
Karisma has signed a deal with Ekta Kapoor’s Alt Balaji. She is doing a web series for them. They have locked the script and dates, but everything is being kept under wraps till the big announcement.
Reports in DNA suggest that it’s all thanks to Kareena Kapoor Khan and her hubby, Saif.

Kareena and Ekta are quite close to each other. Plus, her brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan also enjoyed his digital experience, so he and Bebo asked Karisma to hear the script. She agreed to do that. She liked the story and realised that the web is a burgeoning space, so she decided to give it a shot.
