Ever since it was announced that Anurag Kashyap is directing a love triangle, I was eager to watch the film. Even though the filmmaker has given us some of the greatest films, a love triangle coming from Kashyap was quite unusual. To add to that was the stellar cast of Taapsee Pannu, Abhishek Bachchan, and Vicky Kaushal, what more could I ask for? Now, the trailer Manmarziyaan is finally out and we finally have a fresh take on love triangles.
A story of two lovers, Vicky and Rumi begins on a fun note but things take a different turn after marriage comes into the foreground. To add to that is the entry of Robbie, a seedha, saadha NRI. Things get complicated and like the trailer says, “life isn’t complicated, people are,” and that is perfectly sketched in this three minutes 4-second trailer.

While Taapsee’s Mulk has been doing great business at the box office, Vicky just delivered a hit with Sanju. The actor also has Takht on the cards which was announced this morning. The film is directed by Karan Johar and apart from Vicky stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor.
Abhishek, on the other hand, is back on the 70mm after two years. After Manmarziyaan, the actor will be seen opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Anurag’s Gulab Jamun.
The trailer is quite intriguing and this one is surely topping my films to watch list. What about you?
