Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up for what looks like a fun, super upbeat and very Punjabi Hindi film called Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. The trailer looked super awesome and while we’re waiting for the movie to come out, a little birdie told us that Sonakshi will actually be singing a song in the film as well. While we know Sona can drop the beat quite well, this time around she will be recreating an iconic song and it is a pretty big deal. According to Mid-Day, Sonakshi will be singing a modern version of Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu from Howrah Bridge, 1958. Apparently, the song has been given a very distinct Punjabi tone to it, keeping in tangent with the whole story. Sonakshi and her co-star Jassie Gill shot for the song last month in China as well. Quite a few songs are being picked up and rehashed these days Mera Naam Chin Chin Chu is the new one in the list.
