It’s the wedding season and everyone around is either getting engaged or married. And if you’ve recently found someone, and are looking to get hitched there are a few things to keep in mind. If you like someone but aren’t sure about them, here are a few things you should remember before you commit to your partner.

1. You Need To Understand Each Other

If you guys don’t understand each other, then it’s not a good idea to commit immediately. Take some time to communicate the gap and address the issue before you think of getting married.

2. Know Every Side Of Your Partner

It’s important to know each and every side of your partner. Their good and bad side. How they react when they’re stressed or angry shows whether you can handle it or not.

3. You Should Love Their Families

Their families will be in touch with you more often than you think. It’s important that you are fond of them or else, the living situation will be pretty tough even if you don’t stay with them.

4. Your Families Should Approve

Your family knows you and what makes you happy more than you. Make sure to trust their opinion and go with their judgement. They will be able to see what you might not.

5. Fall In Love

Falling in love with the person is the most important before you commit to them. If you haven’t fallen in love yet, wait till you do. It’ll make the journey even more wonderful.

6. Discuss Everything With Each Other

You should be on the same page when it comes to the matters of the future. Whether it’s having kids, career paths or where you guys picture your lives after a few years. It all has to match.

7. You Should Want The Same Things

How many kids you guys want, where you both want to live and your lifestyles should be in sync with each other.

8. Know Each Other’s Past

If you don’t know everything about your partner, it’ll always make you guess what their past was about. You should know everything about each other.

9. Sexual Chemistry

Physical chemistry is extremely important if not the most important. You need to be very comfortable with each other physically.
