In the last few years, several star kids have made their grand Bollywood debuts under various big banners. While many of them have found their foothold in Hindi cinema, some are still struggling to make it big. Being the torch-bearer of the non-filmy ones who’ve managed to succeed in Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut once spoke about nepotism and triggered a chain of conversations. It is now one of the most sensitive topics amongst our B-town celebs.

Recently, Ekta Kapoor posted the first look of her upcoming production – Laila Majnu and wrote about the non-filmy newcomers who feature in the film. Here’s what she posted:

She referred to the duo as ‘unknown talents who have no film legacy or star fathers or godfathers’. And this didn’t go down too well with Jackie Shroff‘s wife and Tiger Shroff‘s mom. She wrote, “It’s not a sin to have a star-father.” Ekta immediately responded. Here’s how their interaction panned out:
