Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made a striking public appearance together at Sonam K Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja‘s wedding reception and fans couldn’t help but ship them for real. It wasn’t long after that when Ranbir Kapoor made eyebrows hit the roof with his revelation about him dating his Brahmastra co-star, Alia. The duo has since been spotted together on various occasions they’ve even met each other’s parents and we’re all aware much Neetu Kapoor adores the actress.
It was perhaps because of all these reasons that reports about the two getting married started doing the rounds. Some media portals even quoted a source saying that the wedding will happen in the second half of 2019. While it got fans excited, turns out they were only rumours. How do we know? Well, Ranbir himself rubbished all reports about marrying Alia in a recent interview with Hindustan Times.
Here’s what he said
It’s [such rumours] all a part of show business. You make up a story, and soon, there’s another story of the first story, and so on. I have always believed that marriage is something that will happen naturally. It can’t be like, ‘Okay, I am 35 now, so it’s time to get married’. It should come to you and your partner naturally and you should both feel, ‘This is the right phase. Now, we should take this relationship to the next level’. But abhi aisi koi baat nai hai. I haven’t decided on marriage yet.
While marriage may not be on the cards yet for him and Alia, the actor had something sweet to say about their relationship.
It’s something beautiful, sacred and really important.
