Hindi cinema in the recent times has shown a tremendous change in the kind of content that is being produced. It is a great time for actors as they are getting to try different scripts that not only manage to impress the masses but also earns great moolah at the box office. In such times, what adds a cherry on the cake a letter from Amitabh Bachchan. Every time an actor impresses him, he ends up sending a handwritten letter praising them and that is a memory for many. Similar happened recently when he praised Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, and Deepika Padukone.
Recently, Mr. Bachchan was present at the press conference of Kaun Banega Crorepati, where the actor was asked about his view on the leading ladies of Bollywood to which he replied that he was scared of them.
Mr. Bachchan said,
From the younger lot, Alia, Anushka, and Deepika – all of them are such powerful actors that I am scared to work with them. Kha hi jaayege humko. We took years and years and years and years and we are still trying to fine tune our craft, these people they come on the first day on the set and they know exactly what they are doing. They are so confident and so mature.
He also praised the leading men of the industry. He added,
Look at what Ranbir is doing and Sushant, Varun and Rajkummar Rao. Recently there was this film Sonu ki Titu – bada ajeeb sa naam hai – usme Aaryan was so good. The film had such a good story. I get so obsessed and I keep writing to them saying well done.
Mr. Bachchan and Deepika already gave us Piku and currently, he is working with Alia on Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. We can only imagine what the film will look like! We can’t wait for it!
