7 Foods That'll Help You Boost Your Memory

Our generation is always busy and overwhelmed with work. Too much work equals too much stress. And a person who works in stress and is preoccupied all the time could end up forgetting a few things. In such a scenario, there are many foods one could consume daily that’ll help them boost their memory and make the brain sharper than before. Here they are.

1. Almonds

Almonds are known as ‘Brain Food’. They are packed with B2 and vitamin E that help in keeping the mind alert.

Berries supposedly help in sharpening the brain and also aid in people who suffer from Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI).

3. Egg Yolks

Eggs contain Choline that has been shown to help with memory. So, make sure to add them to your diet.

4. Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate contains a high level of cacao that can help with stress levels, inflammation, mood, memory and immunity.

5. Turmeric

Turmeric is loaded with curcumin that is an antioxidant. This basically protects the brain cells against damage caused by free radicals.

6. Walnuts

These nuts contain large amounts of Omega-3 that help in lowering blood pressure and boost memory.

7. Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds are rich in many micronutrients like copper, iron, magnesium and zinc that are important for brain function. A daily dose of pumpkin seeds could improve memory and help keep the brain alert.
