Pantsuit has been trending for a while now. But even the structured suit gets a revamp from time-to-time. After the statement pantsuits, the new trend that we see is the looser and comfier version of these structured ensembles. It does sort of look like you have borrowed the blazer from your dad’s closet. The slouchy vibe is super cool, plus the power shoulders do come through.
For a recent event, we spotted Sonam Kapoor Ahuja sporting this trend. TBH, this look was quite different and refreshing on her, and we were totally diggin’ it. Celebrity stylist and her sister Rhea Kapoor had put this look together. The pantsuit we’re drooling over was from Y/Project, which she styled with Begani Jewels jewellery like the hoop earrings and rings, the little trunk from Louis Vuitton and strappy heels.
The oversized blazer that features broad shoulders and loose sleeves surely looks like something we’ll find in our dad’s closet. The pants too make a statement on their own. The buttoned-up front with a slit makes for an interesting silhouette. Don’t miss out on the contrasting blue shirt that she wears underneath. This androgynous outfit is a winner for us.
