This Teacher’s Day, we’re dedicating this blog to all the teachers we’ve learned so much from over the years. The few we idealised in school, the some we tortured in college and the many who teach us things without even knowing how much they’re helping us grow. Teachers are not only those who’ve taught us in institutions but also the ones whom we learn from every single day. It could be your parents, grandparents, siblings, friends or your boss! But, today we’ve listed down the kind of teachers all of us have come across at some point in either school, college or tuitions! Here they are:

1. The Sarcastic One

This one almost always had an insult at the tip of their tongue. They never answered a question with a straight answer, but you’d always find them responding sarcastically with a hint of rudeness.

2. The Spitter

God bless the first-benchers. If you’re sitting in the first few rows of class, you’re in for a massive spritz of spit. So the next time you enter class don’t forget to wear wiper glasses just like the students in the movie Main Hoon Na did. Remember that?

3. The Soft-Spoken One

This teacher is so soft-spoken that no one can ever hear what they’re saying, not even the front-benchers! So, instead, you’d have to nod along and pretend to hear everything.

4. The Strict One

Everyone is scared of this one. They remember everything you do. If you bunk the lecture or forgot to do your assignment in the last class, they will remember it all. You can run all you want, but you can’t hide from them.

5. The Chirpy One

The classroom lights up each time they enter. They’re funny, energetic and most importantly uber enthu about class.

6. The Fashionista

This person is very fashion forward. New sarees every day or new shoes or bags daily!

7. The Philosopher

The one who guilt-trips you instead of yelling. Honestly, they’re worse than your mom sometimes.

Have you come across any of these kinds of teachers? Today we’re reminiscing a little too much about how we played pranks, made fun and annoyed our teachers and now realise just how patient they were with us. For all the lovely teachers out there, Happy Teacher’s Day!
