We’re sure you’ve had a fun weekend. Hung out with friends, drank and partied way too hard. It all sounds epic! However, the hangover that follows a Sunday drunch is the biggest struggle every adult goes through. Instead of walking to office looking like a backup dancer from Thriller, try eating these foods to get over this horrible feeling and feel alive again.

1. Water

It’s literally the best cure for a hangover. Since alcohol dehydrates you, drinking a lot of water will help you hydrate.

2. Coconut Water

Another way to hydrate is coconut water. It’s great for the body and also cools the stomach.

3. Watermelon Juice

Down a glass of watermelon juice. This will help you hydrate and the fibre in the watermelon will help digest last night’s junk food too.

4. Bread

Like you may have already heard, bread absorbs the alcohol from the night before. So, it’ll really help you sober up.

5. Oats

Oats contain a lot of vitamins and minerals that the body need to recover from the hangover.

6. Hair Of The Dog

Ever heard of this? Studies suggest that drinking a glass of the same drink you had last night, can actually cure the hangover. No harm in trying that, right? 😉

7. Coffee

Coffee will energise you and that’s exactly the boost your body needs. Also, the water in the coffee will help in hydrating you too.

So, the next time you’re hungover, try these out to feel like a human again. Also, #ProTip: Munch on some food while drinking. This will protect your liver from a lot of damage and drinking empty stomach will definitely give you a headache the next day.
