Very rarely a film manages to impress you so much that you cannot wait to witness the sequel of it. Similar is the case with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K’s 2013 film, Go Goa Gone. The film which starred Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwari was the first zombie-comedy Indian cinema attempted and with the kind of love it got, we can say that it was a successful attempt. Reports about Go Goa Gone 2 going on floors have been doing rounds for a long time now. While very little information about the film is out, we got in touch with Dinesh Vijan who is producing this one and trust us when we say this, the sequel is going to be another film to watch out for.
Talking about the film, Dinesh said,
Go Goa Gone was a cult film. For Go Goa Gone 2, we are going to have the same cast with a few additions.
Talking about the film being a continuation, Dinesh added,
Yes, it’s going be continuous and it will also have some new characters. This time, the film will have aliens. It will be set in Manali and it has got a lot of new things. It’s the homage on Babaji Ki Butti. From Go Goa Gone to Babaji Ki Butti, it has got a lot of new things and we will officially announce it soon. Raj and Dk are just pulling the final touches of the script and then we’ll make an official announcement.
Vijan is currently riding on the success of Stree and we can only imagine what the Go Goa Gone 2 is going to be like.
