Sisters are each other’s muses and no one other than the Kapoor sisters personify this explicitly. They set the bar high for #SisterStyleGoals and are always giving us inspiration on how to twin with your sis. Yesterday for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at Mukesh and Nita Ambani‘s residence, Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan opted to twin and win our hearts in the same colour.
When it comes to desi looks, the Kapoor sisters are always on point, creating a league of their own. This time they did it by selecting the vibrant hue of yellow. For Kareena, celebrity stylist Tanya Ghavri selected the luxe kurta and sharara from the label Raw Mango by Sanjay Garg‘s latest collection Heer. The contrasting pink dupatta is from the same collection too. Tanya styled the look with statement earrings from Amrapali Jewels, a potli bag from The Pink Potli and golden embellished juttis from Fizzy Goblet. Even her beauty look was on point with the sindhoor completing her desi look.
For Karisma, celebrity stylist Esha Amiin had a custom-made kurta-pants set designed by Manish Malhotra. She styled it with a set of chandelier earrings from TBZ, a white potli bag and juttis. Her dewy beauty look and pulled-back hairstyle complemented her festive look perfectly.
So, it wasn’t just the colour that led to their twinning moment. It was the accessories like the potli bags and juttis and even the hairdo, that added to their similar desi style. It seems it’s all in the details when it comes to twinning with your sister. We’re noting down these style tricks and can’t wait to let our sisters in on it.
