Our social media feed was filled with our favourite Bollywood stars sharing pictures of the festivities that come with Ganesh Chaturthi yesterday. Lord Ganesha arrived in Indian homes and everybody on social media took a note of it. Traditional aartis, eco-friendly Ganpati idols and celebs dressed in beautiful desi attires caught our attention. But while we couldn’t get enough of all these celeb pictures, Sonali Bendre’s post got us emotional. Sonali took to Twitter to share pictures of the celebration at her palatial abode with a special message.

A few months back, Sonali had announced that she was being diagnosed with cancer and is currently in New York for her treatment. We hope that the actress gets well soon.
