The premiere of Bigg Boss 12 gave us enough to be excited about what the season’s got in store for the viewers. The biggest revelation last night came as a surprise to the contestants and even the viewers as bhajan maestro Anup Jalota and his muse Jasleen Matharu made their relationship public. The obvious difference in their age and the nature of the show got the viewers as well as the housemates curious about the truth behind this jodi. The housemates remained confused about their relationship and there was a buzz right from the moment they entered the house. It was during the nomination task that questions were raised on their undefined status of their jodi which left Jasleen defending her relationship with Anup.
One of the housemates, Sourabh Patel posed questions on Jasleen’s affair and insisted her to define what kind of a relationship the duo shared. In her response, Jasleen said that she doesn’t need to explain herself to them or show any chemistry between them. While Anup outspokenly called Jasleen his girlfriend Jasleen had a less than mild response. When questioned by Shivashish Mishra if they were – girlfriend-boyfriend, live-in partners or normal friends, Anup accepted to them being all of that.
In an attempt to salvage the sitch, Anup kept a hand on Jasleen’s shoulder asking if the chemistry was now visible. However, the entire incident left Jasleen upset and she ended by saying that none of the contestants had any right to comment on them.
It will be interesting to see how the unconventional couple deals with the prying eyes of the housemates without losing their cool.
