There rarely comes a time when Kareena Kapoor Khan doesn’t leave a lasting impression on you, especially when you catch a glimpse of her in person. As we sat front row at Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive ’18 less than a month ago and saw Kareena walk down the runway like a shiny, bright mermaid, we knew we’d never forget that moment.
Cut to today, as we covered the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards live, we’d never have thought Bebo would pop back in our minds. Celebrity stylist Samantha McMillen picked an extremely similar dress for ‘The Alienist’ actress, Dakota Fanning. Check it out:

The knife pleats, the cross body wrap technique and low neckline were details that immediately flashed back in our fashion week frenzied minds when we saw Dakota in this Dior dress. While Monisha Jaising went with a dreamy, iridescent vibe, Dior‘s pleated beauty was all about the details, right down to the mini buckled belt. Dakota also paired her look with with a set of emerald earrings from Lorraine Schwartz that were (…wait for it) a whopping 175 carats! She also added a two giant state stacked on two giant statement rings featuring the same stones. We think this will be a good time to say, Monochrome FTW! Dakota’s look was definitely a red carpet done so right all thanks to her glam squad which included makeup artist Erin Ayanian Monroe, stylists Samantha McMillen and Jenda.
