Chitrangda Singh is one of the most gorgeous Bollywood celebrities. The actor-producer is also one of the fittest and fashionably forward celebs and leaves her fans awestruck, including us. We recently spoke to her and the actress revealed the secret behind her fitness, her love for food and lots more. Ready to be inspired? Then keep scrolling!

1. You turned producer with Soorma – a film that did really well – What’s next for you?

Bazaar! It’s a fast paced crime thriller about the stock market .. that should be quite exciting!

2. We hear you’re doing a food show on TV now

Yes! Marriott International and AXN have come together to present a show which will be deliciously fun. It airs next month. Shows such as these bring creativity in cooking and presentation to households across India adding panache and style to the everyday cooking. I hope audiences enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed filming for it!

3. Not many people know you’ve graduated in food and nutrition – what inspired you to take that as a major?

What not many know is that I am also a big foodie. What you choose to eat and drink has such a direct impact on how you feel, how you look and the energy you have through the day to accomplish all the things you want to get done! I wanted to understand this more scientifically and this drew me to choose it as a major.

4. You’ve travelled a lot – what are some of the world cuisines you’ve most enjoyed?

I am curious about cultures and cuisines so it’s hard to select just one. I enjoy Asian food in general – Japanese cuisine is my favourite – it’s taste and presentation is quite unique…and I absolutely love sushi!

5. How do you stay fit? Isn’t it hard to balance fitness and good food?

The answer is healthy food, which can be extremely delicious. The show I am doing will prove that if you use fresh ingredients with great recipes, you can create tasty and healthy dishes every day.

6. Your go-to restaurant in Mumbai for good food

There are many. It is hard to pick one. I was recently at the JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar for a meeting. I tried their restaurant Romano’s and it served authentic, delicious Italian food.

There you have it! Who knew someone who looked as hot and fit as Chitrangda would be a big-time foodie!?
