But when they have an arsenal of an ace designer backing their desi look, we know it’s a winner. Deepika Padukone‘s look for yesterday’s HT Leadership Summit 2018 alongside Ranveer Singh is a proof.
Known to be a muse for designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, we knew that when it comes to saree Deepika is almost always seen in one of his creations. Celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani chose this beautiful ivory drape that featured Sabyasachi‘s signature floral print. The fact that her sleeveless blouse was is the same print made the ensemble more contemporary and refreshing. It was all about the continuity with a conclusion of fringed pallu border. Picking the hue of green from the print, she teamed the saree with an exquisite necklace from the Sabyasachi‘s jewellery line.
