Friday night, news of Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl‘s production house Phantom Films’ dissolution broke out. While Kashyap, Motwane and Mantena took to their respective social and other forms of media to let the world know of the dissolution, there were no comments from Vikas. While most people were wondering why the successful production house was breaking up, we got our answer shortly after. In a detailed interview to Huffington Post, an ex-Phantom employee had opened up about how she was sexually assaulted by Vikas Bahl back in 2015. What was even more shocking was that the founders of the production house knew about it and did nothing back then. In the interview, even Anurag Kashyap confesses that he hadn’t done enough to bring justice to the girl as well.
Amidst all the allegations and outcry about the incident and his ex-partner Bahl, turns out Anurag was hospitalized. While we are not sure what Kashyap was suffering from, the picture shows him in a hospital and Anurag tells the world that while he was away in the hospital the whole world seems to have turned around. But now that he’s better, it’s a new beginning. He credited the picture to his friend and partner Vikramaditya Motwane.
This is not the first time the Manmarziyaan director has been hospitalized, he was again sick and recuperating at a hospital back in April this year too.
