Over the weekend, the sexual assault allegations against Vikas Bahl came as a shock to many. In a detailed interview with Huffington Post, the girl spoke about all the incidents that took place and the trauma it caused her. After Kangana Ranaut came out in support of the girl and called out Bahl for his lewd behaviour, Sonam K Ahuja is the latest celebrity to speak out about India’s #MeToo movement. While she said she was disgusted reading the gut-wrenching interview, she also said that while you can’t take Kangana seriously all the time, she was glad Kangana spoke up and supported the girl.

But unfortunately, looks like Kangana has not taken this remark so well.

In her statement, she lashed out Sonam for her comment on how she cannot be taken seriously.

What does she mean by saying, it’s hard to believe Kangana….when I am sharing my me too story… who gives her a right to judge me? So Sonam Kapoor has the license of trusting some women and some she won’t…….. What makes her so unsure of my claims, I am known to be an articulate person, I have represented my country in many international summits, I am called as a thought and youth influencer to these summits, I am not known because of my dad. I have earned my place and credibility after struggling for a decade …..She isn’t known to be a great actress, neither she has the reputation of being an good speaker…… What gives these filmy people right to take digs at me!

Ouch. This seems to be going out of hand! We are sure that Sonam meant well and her words must have been misconstrued. We hope the two can clear out the misunderstandings about the statement.
