We I first saw Kangana Ranaut‘s latest airport look, I was hit by nostalgia. This time almost a decade ago I would be scrambling through my notes all tensed about my semester exams. Yup, her look reminded me of my school days and how fun they were.
The pleated black skirt played an important role in making her outfit appropriate for the ‘back-to-school’ style. She showed us how easy it is to transition our demure uniform to a look that works beyond school hours. We just had to switch our shirts for a comfy tee and ditch our school sandals for comfy boots. Kangana opted for a casual cool Balenciaga top that she teamed with her broad belt A-line skirt. The backpack on one shoulder just added to the school-girl vibe but her round sunglasses made it more fashionable. Also, I really liked the way she wore her black socks with her black boots. It did feel like she changed her school shoes for these boots.
