Yesterday was a special day for the Hindi film industry. One of the most iconic movies of the 90s, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai turned 20. Present at the celebration of the film was the star cast and crew of the film and many other B-Town celebrities. Among them, Dharma Productions latest prodigies Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor were also there to pay a special tribute to the film. While introducing a segment of the celebration, Janhvi made quite a surprising revelation to us. Janhvi Kapoor and her brother Arjun Kapoor had recently shot for the 6th season of Karan Johar‘s show Koffee With Karan and the actress revealed one of the first rapid-fire questions thrown at her.
She said she was asked which was one iconic movie that she hadn’t watched yet and the actress, to everyone’s shock, revealed that it was Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. She also said that after shooting the episode she ended up watching the movie and could finally see how each and every love story that released after this iconic film was influenced by it.
While we were quite shocked that Janhvi hadn’t seen KKHH until recently, we’re glad she agrees with us as to how amazing the movie is!
Having said that, I can’t wait for another one of Karan’s work, Koffee With Karan to air!
