Kareena Kapoor Khan is a pro when it comes to styling her denim basics. We especially love her denim jacket collection, and we would readily borrow any one of it from her wardrobe. This time she did a double take on the denim, and we love it.
Papped outside Manish Malhotra‘s home, Kareena wore a monochrome casual look. She teamed her light blue shirt with a basic straight-cut denim. To amp up the cool girl vibe, she had the shirt tugged in only on one side. She styled the look with a beige messenger bag, a silver beaded necklace and booties with mesh panels. Now, one will never imagine these accessories coming together in a look. But Kareena makes them work with her denim-on-denim look.
Even though her beauty look may be simple, it does go really well with her casual-cool vibe. The top knot, the complementary red lips and even her matching light blue manicure have a moment with this particular look.
What we do learn from this look is that if you go for a denim-on-denim style, then you don’t necessarily have to go monochrome all the way. These complementing accessories are bang on when it comes to an outfit like this one.
