Koffee With Karan 6 kick-started this Sunday and boy, what a grand premiere it was! The episode witnessed leading ladies Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt gracing the couch and the episode was amazing. Right from Deepika’s wedding to Ranbir Kapoor, the ladies spoke about everything common and uncommon and we gave you a sneak peek of the same.
While the next episode will witness Deepika’s bae Ranveer Singh with Akshay Kumar, a recent report in DNA suggested that Abhishek Bachchan will be a part of the show too. While we were expecting him to grace the show with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the reports suggested that Bachchan Jr. will be seen on the show with his sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda.
A source told the daily,
Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda will be seen on Koffee With Karan (KWK). The three of them are thick buddies and it was KJo’s idea to bring them on the show. We can expect several childhood secrets spilling out as the siblings know a lot of things about the multi-talented filmmaker, which not many in the industry are aware of. The episode will have both AB Jr and Shweta sharing their fondest memories with him as kids.
The source further added that Shweta is close to Karan and thus she couldn’t say no to him.
She has come on KWK earlier with dad Amitabh Bachchan. Karan and Shweta are quite close, so she couldn’t refuse him this time. The episode will be shot next month.
The Bachchan siblings will be revealing some inside details about each other and we cannot wait to watch this one!
