Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak this year and the film managed to impress the masses. The love saga which was a remake of Marathi film Sairat was directed by Shashank Khaitan and also marked the Bollywood debut of Ishaan Khatter. While Ishaan is yet ot announce his next project, Janhvi seems to have already bagged her third film. As per reports in DNA, the film will be directed by Shashank and will also star Varun Dhawan.
A source informed the daily,
Shashank and Karan Johar (who is backing the project) wanted a new jodi for the film. They felt Janhvi would be a perfect fit.
While Shashank confirmed that Varun will be a part of the project he revealed that he is currently working on the script, and thus isn’t sure about the entire cast. The source on the other hand, also added that Janhvi will be seen sporting different looks and will undergo training for the same as she will be a part of action scenes.
Apart from this film, Janhvi is also an apart of Takht which stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal.
