The Bollywood industry is blessed with some proficient actors and one of them is Irrfan Khan. But it has been a while since we have seen Irrfan on the big screen as the actor, who was diagnosed with cancer, was getting treated in London.

The movie buffs definitely missed watching him on the silver screen but looks like they will have to wait no longer. As per a report on Bollywood Life, Irrfan is going to return to Mumbai and will soon start shooting for the Hindi Medium sequel. Irrfan will be flying to Mumbai in a couple of days.

Reportedly, the film will go on floors in the first week of December.

The makers of the film met Irrfan in London for the narration of the script and everything fell in place, the report further read.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the Hindi Medium sequel will move to 10 years later and will tell us the story of Irrfan Khan’s character, Raj.

Hindi Medium which released in 2017, also starred Pakistani actress Saba Qamar. The film started slow at the box office but with the word of mouth, it picked up and went on to become a hit!

Irrfan was last seen in Karwaan which marked Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar‘s debut in Bollywood. Because of his treatment, Irrfan had to opt out of some  Bollywood projects but we are glad that he is soon going to be back. We can’t wait to see Irrfan in the movies again! Are you excited too?
