It was just today that we came across the news of Irrfan Khan coming back to Mumbai in a couple of days and making a comeback in Bollywood with the sequel to Hindi Medium. As per reports, Irrfan was to begin shooting for the film from December but looks like all the reports are just rumours.
On behalf of Irrfan Khan, his spokesperson gave a statement clarifying the rumours.
The spokesperson said,
The story floating about Irrfan starting Hindi Medium 2 shoot in December are all based on speculations. However there is a possibility of him returning to India after Diwali.
Since there is no confirmation on his film, we will have to wait a little longer to see Irrfan in the movies but the good news here is that he will be returning to India soon.
Irrfan Khan is currently in London for his cancer treatment.
