The festive season is upon us and as a lover of all things ‘wedding’, I’m always on the lookout for new bridal wear trends, decor ideas and trending jewellery ideas for brides. So when I saw Aditi Rao Hydari in this Gaurav Gupta couture gown at his store launch, I couldn’t help but picture a bride wearing this look at an outdoor wedding at sunset.
The pattern and cut of it are simply ideal for the kind of bride who doesn’t want to go down the ball gown route. While the unkempt edges might put off the older crowd, trust us when we say that it’s the perfect way to wear a shabby-chic look. The blend of silver and gold streaks on this gown speaks of a modern bride in so many ways.
We love how Aditi went absolutley minimal with her jewellery in this look; no necklace, no bracelets, no earrings. It guaranteed full attention to the gown and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
