Talking about the project to PTI, producer Ronnie Screwvala revealed that Shah Rukh will be starring in this one. Apart from that, Ronnie also revealed when the actor will begin shooting for the film.

Ronnie said,

We are doing that film with Shah Rukh Khan. We should begin it by February or March next year, but we haven’t announced the female lead yet.

The news agency also reported that the film which was initially titled Salute will now be called Saare Jahaan Se Achcha. The reason for the same is because after the astronaut had returned, the then prime minister Indira Gandhi had asked him how did India look from the space and he had replied saying, “Saare jahaan se achcha, Hindustan humara.”
