Be it the zingy yellow or season’s trending colour, blazing red, it seems like any and every colour is right up their alley. That’s the very reason why Malaika Arora‘s latest outfit doesn’t come as a shocker, as we already know she can pull off any hue. Especially, a colour like bright pink that she has worn before.
To make a statement in just one look, celebrity stylist Maneka Harisinghani chose this fuchsia gown from YolanCris. At first glance, it actually looked like a two-piece, with a top and a fluid skirt, but the mesh bodysuit underneath gave it away. The highlight of the dress—other than it’s colour and the super high thigh-slit—was that the drapery on top was meant to be a hood. Yes, a red carpet worthy gown that featured a hood. Now, isn’t that cool? But Malaika chose to keep the hood down that gave an illusion of a short cape, and we liked this take on the hood too. Maneka teamed the gown with stellar earrings designed by Roma Narsinghani and strappy silver heels by Giuseppe Zanotti.
Celebrity makeup artist Divya Chablani celebrated the bold hue by keeping the makeup look on the neutral side. Celebrity hairstylist Hiral Bhatia took the same cue and went for an effortless low bun so the gown could do all the talking.
