While we are debating which celeb looked their desi best this Diwali, Kareena Kapoor Khan did what she does the best. We can imagine Poo from K3G saying ‘Tumhara koi haq nahi banta ki tum itni sundar lago. Not fair!’ after seeing Kareena’s photos that were all over Instagram yesterday. TBH, we truly understood the meaning of the word mind-blowing after seeing her pictures.
Reinventing the quintessential Diwali look, celebrity stylist Mohit Rai went contemporary with Kareena’s look. So, rightly he chose Masaba Gupta‘s creation to do so. The polka dot chanderi saree from House Of Masaba was definitely a Diwali look we didn’t expect but was refreshing indeed. The monochrome saree with gold border teamed with a modern blouse was every modern girl’s Diwali look dream come true, wasn’t it? It was simple yet so drool-worthy. Mohit added more oomph to this outfit with oxidised statement earrings and rings from Curio Cottage and Sangeeta Boochra.
We also agree to the fact that her beauty look did total justice to outfit. Celebrity makeup artist Savleen Manchanda aptly went for soft smokey eyes with intense kohl. Keeping all the attention to Kareena’s captivating eyes, she opted for a nude lipstick. Even the simple black bindi had an important part to play. With her side-swept mane, Kareena totally looked like a pataka.
